The process of carrying out a BDFP includes the implementation of certain key procedural competences like: searching and managing information, analysing empirical data, writing academic texts, using ICTs resources and knowing how to communicate and discuss the results.
This activity programme is willing to be supported in this process through SEVEN TRAINING ACTIVITIES of practical nature focused on each of these competences.
This programme is flexible, and you can enrol those action/courses that you consider more necessary or interesting.

How to face your BDFP
The Library provides this course, in which we offer a set of guidelines to help you preparing and defending your Bachelor’s Degree Final Project.
You can do this course and it will take about 30 hours of work. Also, those who finish the course with a “pass” will get a certificate computable for 30 hours of work (1 ECTS credit). Contents are organised in 5 topics with different didactic materials and tests or tasks to evaluate the learning process. There is also a forum in which you can ask any question.
Orientation Briefing
Given the questions generated by this subject to students, it is planned to provide general orientation to ease the modality election, the design and development of the BDFP, contributing to successfully pass this subject. In order to achieve this, there will be: a) information on the working modalities to help choosing one, depending on the chosen topic and according to their skills and competences, and b) guidelines on the administrative work and formal procedures for its presentation and defence.
Data Processing at qualitative/cuantitative research
The main objective of this course is to ease students in the development of data processing to draft the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Final Projects.

Strategies and competences to create visual support
Visual supports are one of the many factors to take into account in the BDFP defence. Creating a good visual support when presenting the BDFP is vital, as it eases the audience’s attention, as well as the message understanding.
Use visual support in the defence of our BDFP enables us to highlight the relevant data, transfer key ideas and information, as well as make obvious the analyse and synthesis capacity and use and empower the expression through different languages.

A certificate for 20 hours attendance certified by the Vice-chancellor of the Campus, accrediting “Procedural competences for the training of future teachers, social educators or social workers” will be issued. It will be necessary to take at least 20 hours of the optional subjects (some activities are compulsory).
