The Bachelor’s Degree in Social Education trains professionals to design, develop and evaluate socio-educational processes of prevention and intervention that contribute to social inclusion, the promotion of personal autonomy and the holistic development of individuals, with the aim of improving their quality of life. Furthermore, students will acquire the necessary training to carry out these processes from a critical, reflective and committed perspective, grounded in the ethics of moral minimums.

The fields of practice within Social Education include, amongst others, non-formal education, adult education, socio-cultural and socio-occupational activities, socio-educational initiatives and social inclusion. This professional activity takes place in a variety of settings, such as NGOs, associations, social services, socio-educational centres, centres for young people, centres for older people and residential care facilities.
