This doctoral program offers a space for advanced training in the field of studies on demographic aging and longevity through the scientific lens of Social Sciences. It appears, in this sense, as a cycle of studies that aggregates different disciplinary areas, seeking to capitalize on their similarities, but also on their differences, in an approach focused on the complementarities that are assumed as founders for the understanding of a multidimensional phenomenon such as demographic ageing and longevity.
