The dean's team, degree and course coordinators, department heads, and administrative and service staff aim to facilitate the integration of newly hired teachers, whom we would like to take this opportunity to welcome.
The Faculty of Education and Social Work at the Ourense campus has a history spanning almost 200 years of training professionals in the socio-educational field, and its principles of action are based on promoting diversity, equal opportunities, and the right to be different. In line with our values, we have formed a multidisciplinary team of more than 150 employees (teaching and research staff, administrative and service staff) with a common goal: to train professionals to deal with diversity in educational and social contexts.
The diversity of areas that make up the teaching team requires a significant effort in planning and implementing coordination actions that lead to the consolidation of an academic culture characterized by methodological innovation and cooperative work.
Achieving a quality educational project necessarily involves the creation of a coordinated, cohesive teaching team working towards a common goal: to contribute to the construction of a more diverse and inclusive society through the training of professionals who are experts in diversity, as well as research that enables the improvement of people's lives, with special attention to the most vulnerable.
