Investigadoras da Facultade de Educación e Traballo Social, do grupo HC1 e de Ecobas participan este mércores e xoves en Limoges (Francia) na xuntanza de socios do proxecto europeo RuralSilverHubS. A iniciativa ten como obxectivo promover a economía prateada rural a través da innovación social, dixital e emprendedora. Nestes dous días de actividade traballarán na coordinación e no avance do desenvolvemento do proxecto, que dispón dun orzamento de 1,2 millóns de euros para abordar tres retos comúns no espazo Sudoe: o envellecemento, o despoboamento rural e a limitación no acceso a determinados servizos no rural.

RuralSilverHubS Mellora da calidade de vida en áreas rurais impulsando a economía social na silver economy arrancou en 2025, dura tres anos e está financiado pola 2ª convocatoria Sudoe 2021-2027, do Programa Interreg e o Fondo Europeo de Desenvolvemento Rexional (Feder) da Unión Europea. Liderado pola Diputació de Tarragona, conta cun consorcio formado por 19 entidades de Francia, Portugal e España no que destaca a presencia de administracións públicas e entidades expertas en desenvolvemento territorial e no que a representación galega inclúe ademais da Universidade de Vigo á Axencia Galega de Desenvolvemento Rural. A participación da UVigo está encabezada por Maribel Doval, do grupo de investigación Historia Contemporánea 1 e da Facultade de Educación e Traballo Social, e Raquel Arévalo, do grupo de Investigación en Economía, Enerxía e Medio Ambiente Rede e da Facultade de Ciencias Económicas e Empresariais.

Equality Label

The Equality Label has been created to make the effort made by many in our University, who fight everyday to research, teach, transfer, manager and produce feministic and from a gender point of view scientific knowledge visible, and publicly and institutionally acknowledged. This initiative aims to acknowledge the work made by centres, schools and faculties in the field of a real and effective equality between men and women promotion, and, in this way, achieve a more human, equality and fair university.

The Faculty of Education and Social Work achieved the Equality Label on February 8, 2022.

Galicianization Label

The Faculty of Education and Social Work of the Ourense campus is the winner of the Galicianization badge of the University of Vigo Gal Ego 2023, launched in the academic year 2023/2024 by the academic institution to encourage and recognize the use of the Galician language in faculties and schools.

The Faculty of Education and Social Work obtained the Distinction of Galicianization in December 2023.

Centre certified by FIDES-AUDIT

The Faculty of Educationand Social Work designed a Quality Guarantee System in collaboration with the Quality Area of the University of Vigo, following the guidelines of the programme FIDES-AUDIT.

The ACSUG (Agency for Quality Assurance in the Galician University System) issued a positive evaluation of the design of the centre Quality Guarantee System on the 26/04/2010. Later, on the 28/07/2017, the ACSUG issued as positive the certification report of the implementation of the Quality Guarantee System in the centre.
