Moving toward the achievement of the objectives established in the Strategic Development Program of the Faculty of Education and Social Work (PDE-FETS) requires well-established planning and control tools that allow for evaluating the extent to which the Faculty is approaching the established goals.
Likewise, the complexity and difficulty of the objectives set requires precise timing of the challenges and actions to be carried out over the next four years. For this process to be successful, it is essential to take into account that the people involved in its implementation are necessarily immersed in a multitude of academic, management, and research tasks, which means that the economics of the process are particularly important in order to achieve the necessary adherence and motivation. That is why, after in-depth discussion, only the most significant objectives and the most relevant measurement indicators were selected, without compromising the validity and reliability of the procedure.
Based on the strategic priorities and objectives established by the University of Vigo and aligned with them, the following outlines the strategic priorities of the Faculty of Education and Social Work, the objectives that will guide our journey in each of the courses covered by the PDE, as well as the indicators and measures that will serve as tools to verify the progress made. The PDE presented covers a period of four calendar years (2023-2026); however, in order to specify the indicators and measures associated with each strategic line, annual data will be taken into account, as well as data whose reference takes into account the academic year. As a guarantee for the development of the quality policy established at our center and to formalize its commitment to excellence and improvement, the Faculty Board of March 8, 2023, agrees to establish the following quality objectives and goals.
